Great resin, great price The resin is very good.
Consistent results, inexpensive. I run a small print farm these work consistently for us
Funciona!! Mi primera resina y sin problemas, lo nico es el olor, pero supongo que as huelen todas.
The best resin at the best price! I bought this resin to test against some of the other better known brands because it was half as expensive. I printed some smaller and bigger Dungeons and Dragons miniatures with both and the quality was just as good if not better than the more expensive brands. This is my new choice for resin and I've bought from them several times now and couldn't be happier with the results.
Nice and inexpensive. So far a pretty fantastic resin. Clear, set well, and boy howdy it does grip the plate. Killer price, didnt even realize I was getting 1000g
Good stuff First foray into resin printing on the mars 2 mono. Pretty much dived in head first, used 3 sec layer time, 45 sec initial layer time (5 layers). Odor was virtually non-existant, which made it pretty enjoyable to use.Color came out frosted, but thats to be expected and a quick shot of laquer made them completely clear.Once cured, thin parts are still a little flexible but dont feel as if theyre going to break unless excessive force is used. Thicker parts are very ridgid, but still sand reasonably even after 20 minutes of curing, so i wouldnt recommend this in any structural or bearing application. But to be honest, this would be for asthetics and hobestly, i think im going to keep buying this as my everyday resin. Very impressed and happy
The more I am using this resin the more I like it I think this is my first Amazon review of any of my hundreds of purchases. I am writing this review because the more I am using this resin the more I am liking it.I have been resin printing for over 3 years, first with a Phrozen Shuffle and now with a Phrozen Sonic Mighty. I have used Monocure, Phrozen, and Siraya resins. For the longest time I was using Monocure for 95% of my printing, so much that I purchased 2 5kg jerry cans. Comparing the Rich-Opto resin to all the previous resins I have used this resin is on par to to the others and for the price this resin just can't be beat.I run with a little higher cure times of 30 second base layers and 2.8 seconds for normal layers. I use denatured alcohol to clean the prints and the prints have little to no residue after 30 seconds of agitation, for the really detailed prints I also use a brush. I am printing miniatures and silicone mold master and detail matters. So far I have not been disappointed with the detail levels of my prints with the Rich-Opto resin.I originally tried Rich-Opto resin for some of the colors. I am really happy with the black, grey, white, and blue. The yellow was too pale for what I wanted, it was more of a butter yellow, and I was hoping for something closer to traffic light yellow. I also may have also gotten a bad bottle since it would not adhere to the base plate at 30 second base layers. In the end I went with Eryone yellow for almost twice the price. The transparent red was also a disappointment, I was hoping for something closer to a transparent traffic light red, instead the transparent red is a few shades darker. I ended up using Dr3D red, again for almost twice the price. If Rich-Opto made their yellow and red more opaque and traffic light colors I would be ecstatic.I haven't tried the purple and pink yet, but I may skip the purple since I want an opaque purple, but the shade looks about right. If Rich-Opto made a translucent base I might try to make the purple, red, and yellow using the 3DRS CMYKW kit.
Good resin for cheap This is for the transparent blue. Great resin for the money. Does a good job on fine detail. Excellent color. Very, very low odor. Cleans up very easy as its a pretty thin resin. Found the recommended settings to be a little bit on the high side for my epax e10 mono 4k screen. I found bottom exposure of 30s and layer exposure of 3.5s on .05mm layer height to be sufficient. Probably could go a little faster on bottom layers but a couple of seconds isnt a huge deal for me there. Bottle is pretty nice and doesnt make a huge mess like some of the other brands Ive tried. A little bonus that I like was a collapsible flexible funnel with screen that came in the box.
Resin Printing Isn't Plug and Play This is a slower resin. Don't expect to run 2 second layers or less, and don't expect to be able to run any resin without printing calibration tests. The problem with a lot of resin reviews is there are a lot of people that are idiots that find someone else's settings, set them to that, and then complain when it doesn't work. This IS NOT a plug and play hobby and things take tinkering. If you're going to go out on limb and grab a cheap resin like this then you've gotta have the know how to tinker. Every machine is different. Screen use, temperature, and even sometimes batches of resin can make a huge difference in how the resin performs. To address another review, if you're trying to cure in the sun I wouldn't recommend this hobby. Buy a cheap UV light to cure with. I used a wash and cure station and cure for 5-6 mins and get perfect prints. My only real complaint is that it is brittle, but so is most non-specialized resins. I'm going to experiment with mixing it down with another tougher resin.
JAH-Just a Handyman
Excellent value I have been very pleased with this resin for the price. I think the resolution and features are very good and the figurines I print are fairly flexible and durable. I use SIryatech Rapid as well, but it is 50% more expensive.
Excelente Buen producto
Equal to Anycubic resin with my Mono X! Just bought a Anycubic Mono X printer and bought some of their grey resin as well. As anyone who has this printer can attest the Mono X eats through a 1000mg bottle of resin pretty quick; even if you hollow out your large models, the surface area will soak up all your resin. This is the position I found myself in; halfway through a large model I was quickly running out of my Anycubic grey. Now, I had bought the Rich-OPTO resin because it was half the price of the Anycubic but didnt plan on using it until I had time to properly test it. Well that time had come; I could either scrap this model and start over or I could pour it in the vat and cross my fingers that it would be ok...Thats exactly what I did! (See picture) There is definitely a color shift but the model is perfect!Im happy to say that the Rich-OPTO white performs exactly the same on the Mono X as the Anycubic grey, and at almost HALF the price!I will definitely be buying more!
Amazing Resin! For reference, I have a Anycubic Photon Mono X with a flexible build plate. I modified the default printer settings from 1.5 seconds per layer to 2 seconds per layer with a one second off time and 7 mm of lift. These settings have resulted in super clear and crisp models.I had some issues with the first bottle, contacted support, and they sorted everything out for me with super fast response time. I'm a bit of a night owl and expected to be playing email tag with them over several days, but, that was not the case. Even with the back and forth, all was sorted in an hour.As with most clear resins, after washing it does become a little bit cloudy. I figured out that spraying things off with an air hose after the print comes out (in an enclosed box), gets the extra resin off, without getting the IPA cloudyness. The model of the water and the marine were not washed, just cured. They came out really clear. Lots of details in the gears and machanics of the suit. I did wash the benchy and the tag in the Anycubic wash and cure, and the results are a brighter but more opaque blue. So if you want a brighter less clear blue, wash then cure. But if you want super clear prints, just spray the extra resin off with an air compressor or can of air. Just make sure to have the print in something enclosed so you are not spraying uncured resin everywhere.Overall this resin is fantastic. It holds its own against more expensive resins. I will admit, the price is what drew me in to make the purchase. I also purchased the Anycubic clear green. This resin works just as well at nearly $10 less a KG. I will continue to buy this brand. I am currently also testing their ABS-Like resin. So far this brand seems to be top notch. Love it!
Great resin Great resin. Prints easy. Tested in both Elegoo Saturn and Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K.
clear purple issue Update: Amazing customer service very friendly and helpful when i had issues with the purple resin they responded quickly. The resin itself is very strong i make pens and test the resin by simply smashing it with certain weights and Rich-Opto is by far the strongest.Ordered clear purple and it wasnt clear at all its really just black with a purple hue nothing like the pictures show.
My go to resin!!! Wow just wow, Beautiful details, fast exposure, no fuss, super affordable. Cant ask for more!!! This versus a competitor that I paid twice the amount for destroy the competition. This will definitely be my go to resin! I have bought the clear blue, clear green, clear red and clear orange all with great results.
Mislabeled but so worth it!! First; the titles is great for this lol don't buy if you mind mislabeled stuff, but do buy if you want a nice clear print and some super nice colours! I'm halfway into my first bottle today (2nd day using it) and all I can say is it's awesome! I love this stuff, it's made my life 10x easier when it comes to painting clear parts. The resin is super durable and has a bit of flex, it picks up all the details perfectly, and I literally can't smell it. Not sure if that last one is just me but usually I can smell my resin when I lift the hood of my printers, not at all with this one. I clean it with 91% IPA in a stirrer / wash station for 5 minutes, then toss it in a vase of warm water to water cure for 10 seconds. Prints end up as shown with the dragon :)! Totally recommend to anyone doing your everday 3D Prints!
Love the color and how well it cleans up and paints It's good consistent resin, cleared up fast without gunking up my ipa. It Sands nicely and looks super clear after a nice coat of clear paint. I'm massing dice for my mtg group with it at the moment and we're all excited about how they are coming out. The resin came with a2 sided sponge file witch is always nice and useful. I might post some pictures of the finished dice if I remember too. Also takes paint really well.
Very nice resin. Updated 4/23/2021 My 3D prints came out very smooth and pristine. Impressed with the strength quality of the resin. will definitely buy again. Bought the Clear Orange.Update 4/23/2021:Recently purchased Black and Clear Purple. Upon test printing the black in my Elegoo Saturn I noticed some layers weren't sticking together. Black is usually tougher anyway. I increased the layer exposure time from 2.5s to 3.5s and then printed again and it came out perfect. Minor adjustment for great results. I will test the Clear Purple soon and update again.
Resin Very good product
Great resin. Already buying more. I have used 2 liters now and I have no complaints. It works as well as any resin I have used. For the price I will be using this resin exclusively from now on.

Very good resin Very good resin, economical and good performance. The only thing I don't like it's the fact that then gray in the picture its way more gray dark than the resin. The resin its more like a off-white color. Not biggy.
Amazing prints and easy to clean! I am sooo happy with this resin! It took a bit to calibrate at first and get the right settings. I have an Elegoo Mars 2. I posted a picture of my settings. I am super super new to printing, and this resin was pretty easy to use.I love the shine on this resin after its cleaned. Cleaned up is insanely easy! My favorite resin so far!
Great budget printer They have improved the grey resin, it used to be very light pretty much white. Its still a light grey but this is truley a grey color like a light primer coat. I highly recommend this resin its not the best resin but its the best when you take price into account. Yes Siraya Tech Build is slightly better but at $8 a bottle more well...
Got the right resin I received the right resin, thanks rich-opto customer service!
Great resin, great price Honestly, I love this resin. I've purchased this brand in different colors and they all print very well. I've had absolutely no problems with any of them at all. Everything comes out great, full in detail with no noticeable downsides for me. For the price that they're asking for I'd absolutely 100% recommend this to anyone. I found it easy to clean, I just soak my print in an isopropyl bath and then hit any areas that aren't immediately clean with a brush and it comes out fine. I haven't been disappointed with any of my prints. So if anyone is reading this to think about purchasing this product, you will not regret it. As an added bonus, it comes with a free gift!
Works as Described Rich-OPTO's resin works almost as well as the elegoo resin I used in my mars printer. Seeing it was a more cost-effective product, I though I would give it a shot. Using the same settings as I did with elegoo's resin, I achieved some great results with some models with less than a handful of print failures (though I think those were do to poor supports). The only issue I have with this resin is even after using the default settings, it can be a bit tacky after cleaning and curing it. Whether this is due to to the resin taking longer to cure than elegoo's or if it is residue from the dirty IPA I use to clean models remains to be seen, but all-in-all it works.
Nice resin This rezin vleans up ezly the parts i printer were 100% filled and the passed the drop test lol yes i dropped the part just be for i installed it in my laser cutter.
Quality Printed out very good and high quality I have not sanded it but looks great
great product, low odor great product, low odor
Nice Resin works good. Easy to use, nice color, odor is not bad. White color works well to hide support connections. Remember to shake all your resin really good before every use.
Great value resin that just works! Great resin. Easy to work with, essentially the same times and settings that I used for my Elegoo resin. Cleans easy and doesnt smell too bad. Nicely packaged and an overall great value. The color is more white than I expected, which is great!
Great resin for the price Great resin, low odor not as brittle as other resins and easy to clean!
Great Resin for cheap! Ive never seen a kg of resin for this cheap. Prints very nice without problems for me at least. You get a lot of bang for your bucks and I cant recommend this enough. Its a literal steal.
Excellent performing resin! I admit it.. I'm a newbie. My experience in SLA printing is somewhat limited but I do have a fair amount of experience in FDM printing. I recently purchased a new Photon Mono printer and in my search for a cost effective resin, I stumbled upon this gem. Within a few days, I am printing complex, detailed parts with precision and absolute success. I couldn't be happier. The resin is almost transparent which I like. It's also pretty much odorless and easy to clean up with IPA. I'm printing at slightly cooler temperatures than recommended but I have compensated by increasing exposure just a bit. I printed the items in photo with 3 second exposure times and as you can see, they came out flawless. The detail is well beyond my expectations. The cured items are clean, sharp, and don't seem at all brittle. I'll definitely be buying more of this resin and can't wait to try the different colors.
Great affordable low odor Great low odor resin. My son had a project for school, and asked if I could make some realistic skulls for a report he had to do , the white I had been using had a very strong smell that gave me headaches, so searched low odor resin and this was in my price range, thought I'd give it a try after reading some reviews, I was not dissapointed, very detailed, affordable and does what it says, my son is happy and now wants a 3d printer for Xmas so I'm happy.

Fixed Pink NOT red, Excellent customer service, Sticks to build plate like crazy. The red is nothing like the picture, nor could it be called red. It is the color of pepto bismol only not quite as red.I would have been willing to give it three stars but is brittle as well. I'd post a picture for the color but I couldn't release any of my calibration prints except in fragments.Maybe other colors are better.EDIT: Added picture of calibration print made at 4s/layer. A proper exposure would be 8sec/layer or more; but you can see the "red" color and the fact that it is unusually brittle.UPDATE: Upped rating to 4 stars after I was contacted by Rich-Opto. They changed the description from "red" to "pink" and offered to compensate me for my dissatisfaction. 5 stars for customer service.FURTHER UPDATE: Customer support continues to be great. I found that (on my LD-002r) optimal layer time was 6 seconds or a little more. It really-really sticks to the build plate. I have reduced first layer to 4 layers at 30 seconds (down from 50 seconds) . I'm now very happy with this resin; upped to 5 stars.
Meets expectations Worked like expected!
Reliable Very good and reliable
Bright white Pretty solid resin, I just finished 3d printing 6 minis on my Longer30 resin printer with it and the detail is crisp and the white is bright. At the price I got it at I would definitely buy it again.
Works well. I have printed 2 figures so far that have turned out great. Just remember to adjust your uv exposure time if you usually use clearer resins. Works well for the price.

Great resin The price is great and it performs well. I didn't realize that it was a clear black but this was an added bonus. It has a velvety look to the finish. Easy cleanup.
Quality product Excellent product and beautiful prints. It worked for me using Phrozen sonic mini without any issues.
